In addition to the other new additions to this year’s FCS&E, we would like to announce the first ever Women in Fuel Cells Luncheon.
Women in Fuel Cells is an organization that celebrates the contributions women have made in the science, engineering, marketing and deployment of fuel cells around the world and that will strive to encourage young women to follow a path toward working in the field. The group will also serve as a networking outlet for women in the industry to meet, exchange ideas and opportunities and promote the commercialization of fuel cells and the hydrogen economy. Although the group strives to increase female representation in the industry, we encourage men to join us in our efforts to achieve this goal.
Women in Fuel Cells will kick off with a luncheon meeting on Wednesday, October 29th from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in room 211 A, to meet, mingle and talk about how to best pursue the goals of the organization. If you have any questions please contact Erin Lane at erin_lane@plugpower.com.
