2011
2011 Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition marks 35 Years!
FCS&E celebrated 35 years as a forum for
researchers and developers alike to share new findings, as well as
successes and failures, within the fuel cell community. The
Seminar, founded in 1976, has grown along with the industry in
terms of the numbers of participants; the numbers of demonstrations
of fuel cells; and the state-of-the-art of the technology.
Through our extensive technical program and exciting exposition
featuring international partners, the FCS&E showcased the
importance of fuel cells in the development of energy strategies
that reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas and pollutant
emissions.
The 2011 technical program featured four tracks that cover all
aspects of fuel cell R&D, applications, and commercialization.
Topics presented will be High Temperature Research and Development;
Fuel Processing; Low Temperature Research and Development; Hydrogen
Research and Development; Fuel Cell Testing; Fuel Cell Modeling;
Demonstrations and End-User Perspectives, Commercialization; and
Global Overviews.
With exhibitors from Canada, Germany, Israel, Japan, Sweden,
Taiwan, the UK, and the US, the 2011 Exposition certainly provided
attendees with a global perspective of the market. The exposition
allowed attendees to touch real fuel cell systems and components
and it provided the opportunity to network with leaders of the
international fuel cell industry.
Attendees also continued to enjoy several of the educational
opportunities for which the Seminar & Exposition has become
known, including technical poster presentations and short courses.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes were awarded to posters exhibited at
this year's Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition.
