Plenary Speakers
The Plenary Session will address how the issue of global climate change could be the newest significant dirver of our time for clean, high efficiency and low carbon footprint technologies. Invited speakers will include:
- Stephen Melancon of Entergy will provide perspective on the "path way" for fuel cells via activities in the Nuclear Power Sector.
- Jaimie Levin of AC Transit will discuss the perspectives n the "pathway" for fuel cells in the transportation sector - focusing on transit buses and other fleet vehicles.
- Robert Rose of the U.S. Fuel Cell Council will update attendees on the current status of the U.S. fuel cell industry. His presentation will provide a benchmark on the technical and commercial progress in the U.S. compared with last year in all critical applications: portable; stationary; transportation; and military as well as other notable technical and commercial developments during the past year.
- Ben Yamagata will provide perspectives on the "path way" for fuel cells via activities in coal power sector. This may include an update on the future trends in the coal industry, including estimated time lines for next deployments, next generation coal plants and what you see as the opportunities for Hydrogen from coal and the implications and opportunities for fuel cells
- Joel Bluestein of ICF International will provide a high level update on global climate change: science, research findings and the potential implications and opportunities for fuel cells.
