Registration Fees

Registration fees for the 2009 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition Attendees do not include admission to any of the Short Courses or other special educational programs. You must register and pay the additional fee for those programs separately.

*A student ID must be presented during the on-site registration process. **Only one presenter per paper may register at the Presenter rate.

All cancellations must be received in writing to fuelcell@courtesyassoc.com by November 6, 2009.  Cancellations received by November 6, 2009 will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee.  Cancellation requests received after November 6, 2009 will not be accepted.

Short Courses

The following short courses will be provided at this year's FCS&E.  Please note that these courses are an additional cost.  Refer to the detailed registration fees above for the cost of registration. Click here for detailed course descriptions.

  • Fuel Cell Fundamentals & Technology, presented by Jack Brouwer (Full Day)
  • Basics of Electrochemistry - Fuel Cell Applications, presented by Bill Eggers (Full Day)
  • Codes & Standards to Aid Commercialization, presented by Karen Hall (Half Day)
  • Impedence Spectroscopy with Applications to Fuel Cells, presented by Mark Orazem (Full Day)

Important Note: Seating is limited and advanced registration is recommended.  Short Course notes are not available for purchase.

Exhibitor Registration

Each 10'x10' booth receives one (1) complimentary Seminar Attendee Registration and an unlimited number of exhibit personnel registrations.  All exhibitors who have sent in their booth application by August 1st , will receive an email with their specialized link to register their booth staff.  If you reserve your booth after August 1st, you will receive your exhibitor login via email with your exhibitor confirmation letter.  If you do not receive your specialized exhibitor login, please contact Amy Roth, Exhibits Manager, at fuelcell@courtesyassoc.com.

Exhibit Hall Only Registration

Introduced in 2008, Exhibit Hall Only Registration will again be available for the 2009 FCS&E.  Exhibit Hall Only Registration allows access to the Exhibit Hall, as well as Poster Sessions, and Exhibit Hall Presentation.  Exhibit Hall Only Registration is FREE of charge.  You may register onine or onsite.

Name Badges

Name badges will be provided to all registered attendees and are required to enter all areas of the FCS&E.  All attendees, including Exhibit Hall Only registrants, must stop at Registration to be issued a badge.

2009 Abstract Volume

The 2009 FCS&E Abstract Volume will be printed in limited quantities.  Though some copies will be available for purchase on-site, it is strongly recommended that you order your printed volume with your advance registration.  All Seminar registrants will receive a CD of the Abstract book with the printed conference program.

Reciepts and Certificates of Attendance

All attendees who register online will receive a receipt/confirmation via email, upon completion of the registration process and payment.  Additionally, attendees will receive a paper receipt onsite, which will be attached to the attendee's badge.  Any additional printed receipts or certificate of attendance will be available on-site at the Customer Service Desk, located at registration.

On-Site Registration Hours

Any registration received after October 16th will be considered an on-site registration.  On-site registration will be located at the entrance of of the Exhibit Hall of the Palm Springs Convention Center.

On-site Registration will be open during the following hours:

Sunday, November 15th 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Monday, November 16th 7:00am - 6:00pm
Tuesday, November 17th 7:00am - 6:00pm
Wednesday, November 18th 7:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday, November 19th 7:30am - 3:00pm

On-site registration will accept company or personal checks drawn on a US bank, travelers checks, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express only), and cash.  Electronic transfers and purchase orders will not be accepted.
